After 35 dedicated years with American Express, I entered what many would call retirement — but for me, it was the beginning of an entirely new chapter.

I obtained my insurance license in March 2019, initially as a way to stay active and engaged. What I didn't expect was how quickly a practical decision would grow into a genuine calling.

Stepping into the insurance industry opened my eyes to the profound responsibility this profession carries. It is a highly regulated field that demands not only knowledge, but integrity, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to the people we serve. I came to understand that this work is not about transactions — it is about truly listening to clients, understanding their unique needs, and helping them build a foundation of financial security for themselves and their loved ones.

That sense of responsibility deepened into passion. I found real fulfillment in educating the people around me — family, friends, and members of my community — about the value of insurance planning and the options available to them at every stage of life.
